Now it's time to go back and play through on Medium. Yes! I just beat the campaign on Easy and have built up my Home City on Skirmish to a level 17 (I think). On a related note, I hear Age of Empires III came out recently.
But as far as my personal ethos goes, if the CD isn't working, I'm not going to feel bad about making the software work. The license tells you specifically that you cannot circumvent copy protection systems (which include CD checks) so you're now in violation of a legally binding contract between yourself and Microsoft.
